The New York Genome Center only accepts applications for open positions, and all applications must be submitted online. Below is an outline of our hiring process that we hope you find useful!

After your application has been received, you will receive an email acknowledgment. A talent acquisition professional will carefully review your application and, if your qualifications are a potential fit for the position, contact you directly for an initial phone screen. 

Successful candidates are then invited for an in-person interview at our office, located in Manhattan’s SoHo district. Because we seek team-oriented candidates, you'll likely interview with a number of team members at the NYGC who will evaluate your role-related knowledge and potential fit within the team. An offer of employment will be extended to the most qualified candidate. Employment is contingent upon the sucessful completion of a background check. 

Due to the volume of applications we receive, we cannot give a definitive time frame for this entire process. However, our goal is to make the hiring process run as quickly and smoothly as possible.
